Your details and usual costs.
Enter them once.

Fill in your details, then try the examples below. Your business name fills the customer reply, and your business and contact details fill the quote automatically. Add your hourly labour cost and regular per-job charges, then choose “Use these details” to carry those figures into the pricing preview.

Add the customer and job details separately for each job. This is a website demonstration. The downloadable toolkit includes its own Business setup for auto-filling your actual job templates and replies; website demo entries are separate.

Your details stay in this page unless you choose to remember them in this browser. Nothing you enter in this form is sent to Lucra or Stripe.

Business name is required. The other fields are optional. Only enter details you want shown on your customer documents.

For example: Oak Garden Care

For example: 12 Example Road, Exampletown, AB1 2CD

For example: 07700 900123

For example: hello@example.com

Your usual pricing costs (optional)

Enter your own figures in pounds. These are starting costs for the pricing preview, before any applicable VAT. Leave a field blank to skip it; enter 0 if there is no charge. Profit is added separately.

For example: 25.00 per hour. This is the cost of your labour, before extra profit.

For example: 10.00. Change it for jobs further away.

For example: 15.00 as this job’s share of insurance, software or other running costs. Enter the share for one job, not the whole monthly bill.

For example: parking and small consumables. Combine any other regular per-job costs here.

For example: 5.00. Do not include costs already counted above.

Choose “Use these details” to apply these figures. Travel, overheads and your other regular cost are combined in the preview’s “Travel, disposal & allowances” field, replacing its example amount. Add any extra disposal or job-specific allowances there. Check the costs for every job.

Leave this off on a shared device. After editing, choose “Use these details” to save changes.

Before you start

A few useful answers.

Clear expectations, so you know what you receive.

Ask Lucra a question →
Is this a physical product?

No. It is a downloadable ZIP containing browser-based HTML tools, editable text files and instructions.

Do I need Excel or a subscription?

No. Open the HTML tools in a web browser. The text files can be edited in Notepad, Notepad++ or another text editor. There is no toolkit subscription.

Can I use it on my phone?

The kit is designed for use on a computer. Phone browsers and file-preview apps vary, and some disable HTML buttons. Use a computer for the most straightforward experience.

How do I keep my completed entries?

Use “Save a copy of all my entries” to keep your business setup, costs, calculator, ten templates and sixty replies together. Give each job its own file name. In supported desktop browsers, you can also turn on auto-save to a chosen job file; turn it on again when reopening that job. Browser recovery offers extra protection where available. Read the saving guide.

Does it send my customer details anywhere?

The downloaded toolkit does not upload your entries. You keep your completed files on your own device. Store files containing customer details securely.

Can I use the wording with my customers?

Yes. The licence allows one purchasing business and its staff to adapt the kit and send completed documents or messages to their own customers. The collection itself cannot be resold, shared or redistributed.
